Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in the MCA_NEW program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
β Option 1: Passed BCA / Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree.
β Option 2: Passed B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level (with additional bridge courses).
Bridge Courses for Non-Computer Science Students:
If you donβt have a prior background in computer science but have Mathematics at the required level, you need to complete the following Bridge Courses before proceeding:
- MCS-201: Programming in C and Python
- MCS-208: Data Structures and Algorithms
(If you have already completed these courses at IGNOU, you only need to register for the remaining bridge courses.)
π Note: The bridge course fee is as per IGNOUβs Coursewise Registration and Certification Scheme (CRCS).
