Eligibility Criteria

To enroll in the MCA_NEW program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

βœ… Option 1: Passed BCA / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree.

βœ… Option 2: Passed B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level (with additional bridge courses).

Bridge Courses for Non-Computer Science Students:

If you don’t have a prior background in computer science but have Mathematics at the required level, you need to complete the following Bridge Courses before proceeding:

  1. MCS-201: Programming in C and Python
  2. MCS-208: Data Structures and Algorithms

(If you have already completed these courses at IGNOU, you only need to register for the remaining bridge courses.)
